The VLS Server offers ease of use and robust performance without taxing an already tight budget. This unit is versatile enough to suit the entry-level networking needs of the small business customer.
Functionality
The VLS server’s features and performance is centered on the Intel DQ45CB motherboard. The CPU, being the cornerstone of the server’s performance capabilities, is the Intel Quad Core Q8300 processor. It integrates an 10/100/1000 Ethernet adapter, for implementing Foundation Server, giving the VLS the bandwidth to meet the ever growing demands of today’s server applications. The motherboard also offers the SOHO customer RAID support in the form of RAID 5.
